Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 16, 2026
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how AutoComputer, Inc., doing business as Deep Notebook (“AutoComputer,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, discloses, and retains personal information when you use Deep Notebook, our websites, applications, APIs, and related services (the “Service”).
This policy does not govern third-party websites, models, or services that you access independently. When you connect or direct us to use a third-party service, that provider may also process information under its own privacy terms.
2. Information we collect
- Account and consent information: name, email address, account identifier, authentication information, invitation information, and the dates and versions of the Terms and Privacy Policy you accept.
- Customer Content: prompts, research plans, uploaded files, connected-service content you select, messages, generated reports, code, citations, workspace files, and feedback.
- Integration information: connected provider names, account identifiers, OAuth or access credentials, connection status, automation settings, and data you direct the Service to retrieve or send.
- Subscription information: plan, subscription status, usage entitlements, billing dates, invoices, and limited payment metadata. Our payment providers process full card or bank details; we do not store full payment-card numbers.
- Usage and device information: feature activity, task and model usage, IP address, browser and device information, timestamps, referring pages, diagnostics, logs, cookies, and similar technologies.
- Communications: support requests, survey responses, and other messages you send us.
3. How we use information
- provide, personalize, and maintain the Service;
- process research, run selected models and tools, generate content, and operate connected services;
- authenticate users, enforce plan limits, process payments, and provide account support;
- monitor performance, debug errors, analyze product usage, and improve reliability and features;
- prevent abuse, fraud, security incidents, and violations of our Terms of Service.
- communicate service notices, policy updates, billing messages, and responses to your requests; and
- comply with law and protect legal rights.
4. AI providers and subprocessors
We disclose information to service providers and subprocessors that help us operate the Service. Depending on the model, feature, region, and integration you choose, these may include:
- AI model providers: OpenAI, Anthropic (directly or through Amazon Bedrock), Google, Cerebras, Fireworks AI, and xAI.
- Search and content retrieval: Firecrawl and Exa.
- Hosting, storage, and code execution: Vercel, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, and E2B.
- Authentication, billing, and integrations: WorkOS, Autumn, Stripe, and Composio.
- Analytics, reliability, and observability: Amplitude, Sentry, and Laminar.
We send providers only the information reasonably necessary for the feature you use. For example, a selected model provider receives the prompt and relevant context needed to generate a response, and a connected integration receives requests needed to perform the action you direct. Provider retention, security, and model-training practices are governed by the applicable service configuration, provider terms, and our agreements with them. The providers we use may change as the Service evolves.
5. Other disclosures
We may also disclose information:
- to professional advisers, auditors, insurers, and contractors bound by appropriate confidentiality duties;
- when required by law, legal process, or a valid government request;
- to protect the rights, safety, and security of users, the public, AutoComputer, or the Service;
- in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, subject to customary safeguards; or
- with your direction or consent.
We do not sell personal information for money. We also do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under California law.
6. Cookies, analytics, and session replay
We use essential cookies for authentication, security, and preferences. With consent where required, we may use analytics and diagnostic technologies to understand usage and investigate errors. Some diagnostic tools may capture session-replay data, such as clicks, navigation, and interface state, with configured masking and privacy controls. You can change available analytics choices through the cookie controls shown in the Service or your browser settings. Disabling some technologies may affect functionality.
7. Data retention
We retain account information, Customer Content, generated content, workspace files, integrations, and task history while your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. We may retain shorter-lived logs and diagnostic data based on operational and security needs.
After we complete an applicable verified deletion request, we delete or deidentify personal information unless retention is permitted or required for security, fraud prevention, legal claims, billing, tax, or compliance. Residual copies may remain in encrypted backups and security logs for up to 90 days before aging out. Billing, tax, and transaction records may be retained for up to seven years or the period required by law. Providers may retain limited records under their own applicable schedules and legal duties.
We may retain deidentified or aggregated information that cannot reasonably be linked to you. We take reasonable steps not to reidentify such information.
8. Your choices and privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, know, correct, delete, or obtain a portable copy of personal information; to object to or restrict certain processing; to withdraw consent; and to appeal a denied request. You may also have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising privacy rights.
- Ask us to access, correct, delete, or provide a portable copy of applicable personal information by emailing hello@autocomputer.ai.
- Revoke connected services through available integration controls or the connected provider.
- Update available cookie and analytics choices through the Service or browser controls.
We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law. We will respond within the period required by applicable law.
9. International data transfers
AutoComputer and its providers may process information in the United States and other countries that may have different data protection laws from your country. Where required, we use recognized safeguards for international transfers.
10. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including access controls and encryption in transit and at rest where supported. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Use a secure sign-in method and contact us if you believe your account has been compromised.
11. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it as appropriate.
12. Changes and contact
We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service and law evolve. We will post the updated version and revise the date above. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide additional notice where required.
